SPECIES: Beaucarnea recurvata
ORIGIN: Native to Mexico.
CLIMATE: Full sun, preferrs hotter climates.
FORM: Slow growing with a swollen base. Trunk branches out, each with a crown of long strappy leaves. Masses of small white flowers followed by red seed pods. It has fibrous, non-invasive, lateral root system.
MAINTENANCE: Low - Remove under leaves occaisionally.
Keep soil moist and adjust watering depending on the season.
Use a 6 month slow release fertilizer twice per year.
