SPECIES: Pandanus pedunculatus
ORIGIN: Native to coastal Queensland and New South Wales.
CLIMATE: Sub tropical. Growing best in full sun.
FORM: The Pandanus is also known as a Screw Pine. A hardy tropical plant with aerial (buttress) roots. Excellent feature plant and is multi branching with long sword like leaves. Flowers are yellow with the female producing pineapple-like fruits.
MAINTENANCE: Low - Occaisional trimming of fronds.
Keep soil moist and adjust watering depending on the season.
Use a 6 month slow release fertilizer twice per year.
