SPECIES: Archontophoenix cunninghamiana
ORIGIN: Native to Queensland
CLIMATE: Sub-tropical/coastal habitat with full sun to part shade
FORM: A single grey trunk and can be planted in multiples to create a cluster. Fronds are dark green. Flower clusters are pink/mauve colour and small round fruit/seeds turn bright red. It has fibrous, non-invasive, lateral root system.
MAINTENANCE: Low - Self cleaning
Keep soil moist and adjust watering depending on the season.
Use a 6 month slow release fertilizer twice per year.
MATURE HEIGHT: 20-25m
